Bristol & West Water Polo League 2016
Welcome to the Website of the Bristol & West Water Polo League, formerly the Bristol & District Water Polo League, founded in 1957.
On the website you will find information about the league including rules and conditions, results and fixtures, also teams that participate in the league, directions to pools, links to their websites, and lots of other interesting items that have been added to the improved this site.
At the bottom of the Home page you will find links to a number of intersting water polo sites and markets for various water polo products recommended by myself.
For secretaries of the clubs you will be able to get contact details for other clubs and referees via the password protected members' area. Contact either the Match Secretary or Webmaster for details of your password.
You can see if the Match Secretary has received your matchsheet on the fixtures and results page and avoid being fined. There will also be pdf copies of match sheets for you to get copies or for other teams to view the results. Also you will be able to view your lists of registered players.

There are 17 teams in all that go to make up the four divisions of the league, which is registered and affiliated to Gloucestershire ASA and ASA South West, and is governed by ASA and operates under FINA rules. There are three senior men's divisions, one women's division and an under-16 mixed league. All of its participating referees are ASA qualified to ensure the highest quality of water polo in the South West area.
The particpants come from the counties of Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire, and also South Wales, made up of club sides and university water polo teams.
