After losing the points for playing an unregistered player, Welsh Wanderers were looking to make no errors this time.
After losing a player with almost 3 minutes on the clock for exclusion for misconduct after showing decent after picking up a major exclusion, Welsh Wanderers managed to finish the opening period two goals up at 0-2.
Cwm Draig finally got on the scoreboard in the second period and had halved the deficiet by 2-4 at the halfway stage.
With a hughly partisan crowd chearing on the home side, Cwm Draig fought gamely to level at the end of the third period at 5-all.
However, in the final period, even with the backing of the large vocal crowd of spectators, the home side could not seal victory and the visistors pulled away in the dying minutes of the game to gain victory and the two points.
