Bradford on Avon travelled the short distance to Claverton Down to the University of Bath Sports Training Village in this Division 2 return game.

In the previous encounter at the bathtub at Bradford on Avon, the home side had lost to a respectable 13-10, but in the large university pool it was a different story, and by the end of the first period they were trailing 7-2, however, the visitors had a better second period and were restricting the students to an 11-5 lead.

But in the third period the floodgates opened somewhat and Bath stormed ahead with seven goals to three, to finish the quarter 18-8.

In the final quarter both sides were beginning to tire, and Bath could only manage a further two goals to Bradford’s one.

There were some good performances from the Bradford on Avon youngsters, but they were outclassed by the likes of Adam Williams who netted a double hat-trick, and Vittorio Zoldan who scored five goals, and together with Guilio Sartorello who got a hat-trick were the Bath top-scorers.

For Bradford on Avon, there were three hat-tricks for Ben Walker, Johnny Cruttenden and Rhys Davey.
