Bradford on Avon

The Bradford team is part of Bradford-on-Avon Swimming Club and draws its players from Bath, Bristol, and much of Wiltshire. Since 2014, the club has run a successful junior initiative, and recently started women’s team in late 2017.

Bradford’s junior water polo players enjoyed a great day at the South West 14-and-under mixed water polo tournament at Millfield School. All but one member of the Wiltshire team came from Bradford and the county finished a very creditable third behind the traditionally powerful Devon and Gloucestershire teams. Wiltshire was well beaten by eventual champions Devon in their opening match but followed up with a 13-0 defeat of Somerset. This qualified Wiltshire for a third-place play-off against Dorset – which they won 11-5. The picture shows the 12 BoA players with coach Jim Robinson.
